    Doubler

Posted by Robert Valdez on Aug 27th 2020

I run a Panasonic Pedal Juice Rechargeable 9v Power Supply for my effects on my board and needed a way to power my 18 volt R Weaver Violet Vibe. This GigRig Doubler worked perfectly to double my 9 Volt battery supply to the needed 18 volts. Thanks Dan.

    Doubler 18v power adapter

Posted by Mark Basinski on Jun 5th 2020

Just the thing for my new Cali76 compressor! Great to be able to run that at 18v for best performance. So easy to add the Doubler to my board (already running Distributor w Time Lord and multiple Isolators). Thanks guys!

    EASY

Posted by Leonardo on Apr 19th 2020

I love that I can switch out different adaptors depending on which pedals I have on my board. I thought it would be a pain to have to buy each piece individually to power every accurately, but it’s totally worth it. The amount of space saved and the totally clean power I get to use higher current pedals is amazing. No more individual power adaptors and power strips!

    Best doubler I have found

Posted by Brent on Mar 2nd 2020

Purchased the doubler to power the Fulltone Deja Vibe MkII. Other doublers that only provide 80-100mA of power are completely insufficient despite the Pedal’s documentation stating 35mA is required. While this doubler introduces some noise compared to when I A/B it with the supplied (500mA) power supply, the doubler does at least produce the sonic range of the pedal. I can’t help but feel the pedal may require north of 300mA to be properly powered. Something I will be addressing with Fulltone.... But to be clear, I don’t mind the level of noise produced. It’s noticeable to me, but not any worse that my chorus pedal, so completely acceptable for my use.

    Timelord

Posted by Be a Time Lord on Jun 11th 2019

I own 4 Timelords. I power a BeatBuddy, a Source Audio Nemesis, EHX 22500 and a Selah Quartz. With 5000 mA of current supplied by the generator, I don't have to worry. My previous power supply couldn't handle it.
The best part is the error-proof design. Have you ever fried a $400 pedal because you accidentally plugged it into an 18v socket? I have. The design of this power supply system greatly reduces the chance for error.

    Time Lord

I'm not a tone expert, but the Time Lord is powering my Strymon Volante and it works great! No unwanted noise. Over all, I'm very happy with my Gig Rig power system (Distributor, Isolators, and Time Lord) for my switching unit and pedals.

Both so compact in size, and lightweight. They are awesome for helping power my RC-300 and DL-4!
