G2 Software Upgrade Version 2.00 

This G2 software upgrade has 2 main improvements: 

1. MOVABLE LOOPS - G2 firmware/software V2.00 gives you a movable loop on every preset in every Bank. For example on preset 1 you can have your graphic EQ before your distortion and on preset 2 you can have your distortion before your graphic EQ. Any of the eight mono loops on any preset, in any bank, can be repositioned. 

2. Momentary/ Latched RMT Switches - You can now set any of the RMT switches in momentary or latching mode. This is extremely useful for controlling TAP TEMPO devices. 


PLEASE NOTE - This upgrade is not essential. If you're happy with the operation of your G2 then there is no pressing need to upgrade, the original software is very feature rich. However, if any of the upgraded features sound like they might work for you, then replacing your software is easy. 
To work out the software version you have simply power up your G2 holding down foot-switch 5, then press and hold POST GAIN. You will see up to 4 numbers light up. If the numbers 7,6 & 2 light up, you have the original software. If footswitch 10 lights up, you have the V1.10 software. The latest version will illuminate RMT 2 when installed.

The GigRig warrants the product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the original date of purchase. If the product fails within the warranty period, The GigRig will repair or, at our discretion, replace the product and cover the cost of return shipping to the original purchaser. This warranty covers defects in manufacturing discovered while using this product as recommended by The GigRig. This warranty does not cover loss or theft, nor does the coverage extend to damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper storage, lightning, or natural disasters.     Great Software Update

    I was experiencing intermittent problems with loop 1 on my G2. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. I went to the Facebook G2 Group Forum and posted what was happening. Dan jumped on immediately and directed me to support. They sent me the update, with a MIDI up, as well. The instructions were clear and easy. I'm very pleased with the update and the added features. Well done and Thank you!!!

    Dan has done it again!! With each update the G2 just keeps getting better and better. I'm using mine to control 10 loops and 2 amps. I'm using the MIDI out to control a TimeLine, an H9 Max, and a BigSky, then it connects to an RJM Amp Gizmo to switch channels on my Mesa Road King!! I'm using 1 of the TRS outs to change channels on my Mesa Lonestar. 10 loops, 2 amps, and MIDi all at the touch of one button!! My main goals for buying the new upgrade were the extra presets and moveable loops!! I could not be any happier!!
