Optical Switching Marine Grade Steel.  Compatible with all G2's, fitted as standard on all G2 orders from Aug 2016.

These foot switches use light as opposed to mechanics to switch. The big advantage is there’s nothing to wear out. The switches themselves are milled from marine grade stainless steel making, what we believe, are the most reliable foot switches in the world. 

This upgrade is included on all new orders of G2 placed directly with us. 

Upgrading your G2 with these new footswitches is easy, all you need is a 2.5mm Hex/Allen key and a 14mm socket to tighten the footswitch nuts and to follow some simple instructions.

The GigRig warrants the product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the original date of purchase. If the product fails within the warranty period, The GigRig will repair or, at our discretion, replace the product and cover the cost of return shipping to the original purchaser. This warranty covers defects in manufacturing discovered while using this product as recommended by The GigRig. This warranty does not cover loss or theft, nor does the coverage extend to damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper storage, lightning, or natural disasters. Damage caused by any of the above circumstances may result in a non-warranty repair fee. Legal: In the case of malfunction, the purchaser’s sole recourse shall be repair or replacement, as described in the preceding paragraphs. The GigRig will not be held liable to any party for damages that result from the failure of this product. Damages excluded include, but are not limited to, the following: lost profits, lost savings, damage to other equipment, and incidental or consequential damages arising from the use, or inability to use this product. In no event will The GigRig be liable for more than the amount of the purchase price, not to exceed the current retail price of the product. The GigRig disclaims any other warranties, express or implied. By using the product, the user accepts all terms herein.

    Can a footswitch actually be sexy?!?!?

    I got the upgrade in the mail and installed it that evening. Took me about 20 minutes. These OptoKick switches are insane! As a Nashville session player, we guitarists are typically set up in the room opposite the drums with the room mics RIGHT ABOVE our heads. Any clicks from pedal footswitches will get you dirty looks from the control room AND the drummer. Problem solved! These have to be the quietest, smoothest switches on the planet. They're like butter! The best switcher on the planet just got even better. Thank you!
